Make sure that what you see is “Switch to Employer,” because for you to see “Switch to Employer,” it means that you are currently a freelancer (Seller).Only freelancers can post or sell services on this platform. After switching to freelancer, tap on the profile picture and click on “Post a Service.”.

The texts below explains each component on the post a service form.
- Create a Service Title:
The service title is the first form entry you must enter. For different freelancers or services, the title will be different. Listen to the following examples of service titles and guess the profession:
I will lay every 500 building blocks for you for ₦40,000; I will sew a complete men’s agbada for you for ₦10,000; I will build a functional native app for your business having 5 pages for ₦50,000; I will manage your event for every 50 guests, ₦200,000; I will get to market for you for ₦4,000 without transport; I will do pedicure and manicure home-service per person; I will do your POP per square meter; I will do your stone-coated roof for your house at ₦4,000 per square meter; I will write a 300-page chemistry book in your name for ₦600,000. I will translate your book into another language for ₦500 per page. I will be your nanny for ₦30,000 per month; I will do labor for you for ₦3,000 per day; and so on and so forth. So, those are examples of titles you can give to your service and set the price. - Set Service Delivery Time:
This is where you will mention how long it will take for you to complete the service you want to post. But for custom work, which will be done by sending a quotation, you will be able to set the time of delivery between you and such a customer on the quotation page. Yes, for example, a customer can find your posted service and decide to chat with you for custom work, so you can set the delivery time separately. For example, a bricklayer who advertises a price for laying 500 blocks may be contacted to negotiate the cost of building a complete house. The third thing on the post a service form is the price for the particular service you want to post. Using “contact me for price” phrase is not acceptable on this platform, as much as giving a fake low price is prohibited. If a customer should pay for your service at the price that you advertise, you must deliver the service at that price; otherwise, the money will be given back to the customer and your account will be removed from WeGetJob. So, be honest about your prices and be competitive in setting a price that match your service description. - Addons Services:
This is optional and reserved for creative minds who can sell additional services that resemble the service they want to post. For example, if someone posts that I will do a manicure and pedicure home service for ₦4000, including transportation within Akure main city, such a person can create an add-on service that will sell for ₦1500 for every additional person at the location who may need the same service. You can ignore the addon service if you don’t need it. - Select a Categories that matches your Service:
In case you cannot find a category that matches your kind of service, you can tap on the profile picture in the top right corner to click on the link for “Help and Support,” where you can send us an email to suggest a new category. You can also chat with us on WhatsApp to request adding a new category for you. Note that if you leave your form page without saving, all your entries will be gone and unsaved. - Service description:
Describing your service in details is really important to help your buyers understand what they want to pay for. You can also end your service description by telling your potential customers that you are available for custom jobs different from the service that you have posted. You may write your service description and ask someone to read it and explain what they understand about what you’re saying. Let friends and family pretend to be your customers and try to see any unclear details about your posting. - Upload Photos:
Lastly, you should upload photos that are relevant to the service you want to post. Note that for unresolved phone privacy permissions, the first time you upload pictures from your device to WeGetJob app, it may show an error. Don’t worry about this; just pick the image file again, and the image upload will work. - After filling out the post a service form, click on “Update and Post”. There are times when posts are allowed to go live without review, and there are other times when your post will be sent to WeGetJob staff to review, approve, or reject. No one can find it online when it is under review or rejected, but once it is approved, it will be published for everyone to see.
